Overview

Dollaroodle reserves Master Oodle and related AI tooling for in-context guidance on the Monthly Plan. Freeform chat and a live assistant are not part of the current product. Future guidance is intended to appear on the screens where you already plan.

What AI features may do when enabled

When we enable an AI-assisted workflow, it may help with:

• Explaining household plan numbers such as surplus, goals, and expenses.
• Running forward-looking projections for cash flow, goal completion, and affordability.
• Answering general budgeting questions using model knowledge without reading household records.

Write actions that create or change plan items would always require explicit confirmation in the product before they are saved.

What data may be sent to AI providers

When an AI-assisted workflow runs, the following data may be transmitted to our AI provider as needed for that workflow:

• The text of the request or situational prompt.
• Household financial summaries retrieved by tools for the active household (for example incomes, expenses, and goals).
• System instructions that include account type and household context, but not your authentication credentials.

We would send only the data needed for a relevant response. Raw database identifiers, internal field names, and authentication tokens would not be included in prompts.

AI provider and subprocessor

Dollaroodle uses OpenAI as its AI provider when AI-assisted workflows are enabled. OpenAI processes API data under their API data usage policies, which provide that API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models.

OpenAI is listed as a subprocessor in our Privacy Policy. We may change or add AI providers in the future and will update this page and our Privacy Policy accordingly.

Data retention and deletion

• No chat history product: Dollaroodle does not offer freeform Master Oodle conversation threads for users to reopen later.
• Account deletion: When you delete your Dollaroodle account, associated household and personal data are removed under our standard deletion process, subject to legal, billing, or security retention requirements.

OpenAI may retain API request data for a limited period for abuse monitoring. Refer to OpenAI’s data usage policies for current retention terms.

No training on your data

Household data processed through AI features would not be used to train AI models by Dollaroodle or by our AI provider under OpenAI’s API terms.

Data scope and isolation

AI tools would only access financial data for the household in scope for the current request. There is no cross-household data access. Tool permissions would be enforced at the application level before data is retrieved or modified.

Accuracy and limitations

Master Oodle and related AI features are not a licensed financial advisor. Responses would be generated from household plan context and general financial knowledge. They should not be treated as professional financial, tax, or legal advice.

AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors. Always verify important financial decisions independently or consult a qualified professional.

User responsibilities

When using AI-assisted features, you agree to:

• Provide accurate financial information for meaningful responses.
• Review and confirm any proposed plan changes before they are saved.
• Use AI guidance as support, not as a substitute for your own judgment.
