See the layered security controls and responsible disclosure process for Dollaroodle.
We take security seriously and use layered controls to protect your account and household finance data.
Security controls we use
- Encryption in transit using HTTPS/TLS for requests between your device and Dollaroodle.
- Application-level encryption for sensitive financial amount fields at rest.
- Password hashing and account authentication safeguards.
- Optional two-factor authentication (2FA) for stronger sign in protection.
- Payment processing handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers in Dollaroodle.
Access and operational safeguards
- Production access is limited to authorized personnel.
- We monitor service health and investigate suspicious behavior or reliability anomalies.
- We maintain backups and recovery procedures to support continuity.
Your role in account security
- Use a long, unique password stored in a password manager.
- Enable 2FA and safely store recovery codes.
- Keep your email account secured, since it is used for verification and recovery workflows.
