Modoterra Corporation provides Dollaroodle ("Dollaroodle", "we", "our", "us"), a budgeting and household finance service. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, and authentication credentials.
• Financial inputs: incomes, expenses, savings goals, and household member details you choose to provide.
• Usage data: interactions with the product, device, and browser metadata.
• Billing data: subscription status and payment identifiers processed by our payment partner.

How we use information

• Provide, secure, and improve Dollaroodle.
• Process subscriptions and support requests.
• Send transactional emails such as account confirmations, security alerts, and billing receipts.
• Send product update emails including new features, tips, and product news, if you have opted in.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we protect your data

• Encryption in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• Application-level encryption for sensitive financial amount fields at rest.
• Password hashing and account protections, including optional two-factor authentication.
• Access controls and operational monitoring designed to reduce unauthorized access risk.

AI-assisted features

Dollaroodle reserves Master Oodle and related AI tooling for in-context guidance on the Monthly Plan. Freeform chat and a live assistant are not part of the current product, and we do not store conversations.

When we enable an AI-assisted workflow, it may:

• Send the text of that request and relevant household financial context for the active household to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a response.
• We do not store freeform conversation threads. We do not use household data or prompts to train AI models. OpenAI processes API data under its API data usage policies.
• Write actions that would create or change plan items require your explicit confirmation in the product before they are saved.

Sharing

We only share data with service providers needed to run the product (e.g., hosting, payments, and customer support). We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use Google Ads to show search advertisements. If you click one of our ads, Google may include a click identifier in the URL to measure ad performance. We do not read, store, or use this identifier in any way, and we do not combine it with personal data. We do not place advertising or analytics cookies on your device.

Household sharing

A household plan is visible to the owner and to members the owner invites. If you join a household, the owner and other members can see the plan data in that workspace, including incomes, expenses, taxes, goals, and any household details someone entered.

The owner controls membership. If you leave or are removed, you lose access to that household's plan. The plan stays with the household unless the owner deletes it or the owner's account is deleted.

Do not enter another person's financial information unless you have a legitimate reason to include it in a shared household plan.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

• Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve Dollaroodle.
• Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws.
• Consent: for product update emails and any other optional features where we request it. You may withdraw consent at any time from your notification settings.

International transfers

We may process personal data in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Data retention

We retain information while your account is active and as needed for legal, billing, or security purposes. When you delete your account, we strive to remove your personal data within 90 days, unless we must keep it longer to comply with legal obligations. You can delete your account from settings.

Dollaroodle is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
